Who We Are?

About us

Our History

Ability Home Health serves Central Indiana patients in the comfort of their home. Ability Home Health is a woman owned; family-oriented agency started by an RN who has more than 25+ years of home health experience. We have multiple languages and cultures on staff. Our 3 core values are honesty, transparency, and ethics. Ability Home Health promises to be a partner with you in your health care, be open about your services you are receiving, and ensure your rights as a patient are protected and honored.

Vision Statement

Ability Home Health believes that health care is a basic human right. It must be available for all and be tailored to an individual’s specific needs and wants. An individual and their family has the right to choose who will provide the care for them and have a say in their plan of care. With this philosophy, Ability Home Health will provide compassionate and high- quality care to those we serve.

Marina Nazarov, RN, CEO, Admin
Marina immigrated to the US from the former Soviet Union with her family in 1994 with $300 to her name and a small child. She had to start taking English classes immediately and learn the American culture. She worked as a caregiver and then a home health aide until she decided to go to nursing school. Marina received her nursing license in 2001. She then worked as a charge nurse in the medical surgical unit at 2 different hospitals. While working at the hospitals during night shift, she picked up additional shifts at a local home health agency as a case manager RN. She enjoyed connecting with patients with all different backgrounds and medical conditions. She valued the one-on-one connections with patients, saw patients improving under her care, and reduced patient rehospitalization rates. After working for 4 different agencies locally, she knew she could develop a better, more efficient, and positive business environment and model. Because of Marina’s vision and determination, Ability Home Health has been able to double their census year after year. Marina is very thankful for all the incredible staff, loyal patients, and collaborative physicians and nurses who have been apart of the succession of Ability Home Health.

Mission Statement

Ability Home Health’s Mission is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to those we serve. Health care must be available, coordinated and provided in a comprehensive, holistic manner, combined with other human services when appropriate. Health care should be tailored to address the individual’s needs and requests, within the scope of our practice. Care should be provided in such a manner that the individual’s dignity is maintained, and their rights respected.
