Who We Are?
About us
Our History
Ability Home Health serves Central Indiana patients in the comfort of their home. Ability Home Health was started by 2 nurses who have direct patient care experience of 60+ years and home health experience of 40+ years. When they sat down and discussed the idea of starting a home health care agency, they decided that the 3 core values for the agency would be honesty, transparency, and ethics. Ability Home Health promises to be a partner with you in your health care, be open about your services you are receiving, and ensure your rights as a patient are protected and honored.
Vision Statement
Ability Home Health believes that health care is a basic human right. It must be available for all and be tailored to an individual’s specific needs and wants. An individual and their family has the right to choose who will provide the care for them and have a say in their plan of care. With this philosophy, Ability Home Health will provide compassionate and high- quality care to those we serve.
Marina Nazarov, RN, CEO, Admin
Tim Little, Rn, Asst. Admin
Growing up in a rural community on the family’s farm, Tim brings hard work and determination to his work approach. While attending Purdue University for Agricultural Engineering, Tim’s father became gravely ill, causing Tim to rethink his career choice. Tim left Purdue University and enrolled at Indiana University at Kokomo, to pursue a career in Nursing where he served as the President of the Student Nurse Association Chapter and graduated as a Registered Nurse.
Following graduation, his first position was at Home Hospital in Lafayette as a staff nurse in the Medical Coronary Intensive Care Unit. He went on to become Patient Care Coordinator (Charge Nurse) of the ICU, and then Evening Shift Supervisor, and Night Shift Supervisor before being appointed as the Department Head of the Medical Outpatient Department. He later accepted the Department Head position of the Orthopedic/Neurosurgery where he performed clinical assessments of stroke victims who were participating in trial drugs used to reduce the effects of a stroke. This also positioned Tim to be Clinical Director for a small rural hospital prior to receiving his Master’s in Business Administration Degree, MBA. Tim accepted a position as the Health Services Administrator with a private corrections company at a 1,150-bed facility in downtown Indianapolis. Tim had proven his skills in problem solving and process organization while at the facility and later became an internal consultant in a New Mexico facility which was experiencing similar situations which Tim resolved in Indianapolis. Tim started in the Home Healthcare industry in the Greater Indianapolis area, and instantly connected to the elderly people who wanted to remain in their homes rather than be institutionalized. Having cared for family members himself, he instills his fundamental philosophy in his staff; treat the patients as if they are your own family. Tim is excited to be part of the Ability Home Health Team and will use his experience and expertise to guide the staff in providing the best care possible.
Mission Statement
It is the philosophy of Ability Home Health that health care is a basic human right. Health care must be available, coordinated and provided in a comprehensive, holistic manner, combined with other human services when appropriate. Health care should be tailored to address the individual’s needs and requests, within the scope of our practice. Care should be provided in such a manner that the individual’s dignity is maintained, and their rights respected. To provide this care, the individual receiving it, and if appropriate, the family of the individual, will provide input to the plan of care to assure that the individual’s wishes are addressed to the best of our ability. Therefore, Ability Home Health’s Mission is to provide compassionate and high-quality care to those we serve with this philosophy as our foundation.

Ability Home Health was rewarded a 4 star. The average in Indianapolis is 3.1 with only a handful of agencies that receive a 4 and above.
